Broughton-in-Furness is located on the Furness Peninsula the “Undiscovered Lakeland” and dates from the 11th Century. Situated in the Lake District National Park, it has within its borders the River Duddon so immortalised by Wordsworth and surely must be counted amongst the first of the most scenic rivers in England
